Integrated Territorial Projects (PIT)

UVAL acts as the monitoring unit for the Integrated Territorial Projects (PIT) to assess the manner in which they are implemented and to monitor their progress. This activity is carried out in collaboration with and in support of the Managing Authority of the Community Support Framework (CSF) for the 2000-2006 Objective 1 Regions and the Operational Programmes. The information generated by the monitoring is used to prepare reports for the CSF Monitoring Committee and specific analyses (see Studies).

L’UVAL is also contributing to the construction of a PIT monitoring system to be defined by the end of 2003. The structural definition of the system was assigned to the Objective 1 sub-network of the Evaluation Unit Network.
