Working Groups
The 2000-2006 Community Support Framework states that the Monitoring Committee set up sectorial and topical working groups for the coordination of action management.
The Working Groups receive a specific mandate from the Committee, meet at least twice calendar year and report regularly to the Monitoring Committee at least once each calendar year. Presided over by the CSF Managing Authority (or by an Authority appointed by the Committee on proposal of the MA) they accomplish the following tasks:
- convening of the meetings
- drawing up the reports on implemented activities
- appointing of the members
For specific topics the membership can be extended to the representatives of local Governments, bodies external to the CSF management and to sectorial experts for support. The Working Groups are featured by an established element (membership of the Authorities directly responsible for action implementation) and a variable started up by the Chairman of the Group.
The Working Groups set up for the 2000-2006 CSF are 13. The following seven Groups are under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy and Finance:
The remaining Groups are as follows:
- Mainstreaming equality
- Human Resources Development
- Cultural Resources
- Transport (pdf, 335 Kb)
- Fisheries
- Agricolture and local development
