The discussion Forum for the Monitoring Committees of the 2000-2006 CSF is one of the communication instruments on the programmes co-financed by the Structural Funds. It is an important part of the wider information process promoted by the CSF Managing Authority through the guidelines contained in the national communication Plan, according to the EC Reg. No. 1159/2000 and submitted to the CSF Monitoring Committee on 7 November 2000.
The CSF states that, in order to attain the objectives of information, communication and transparency and meet the citizens’ right to the information access, the OP Managing Authorities are provided with a website dedicated to the works of the specific Monitoring Committee and to the Programmes implementation.
From the need to adopt communication and co-operation forms able to facilitate information spreading, the awareness arises of the communication value for a successful implementation of the CSF.
The discussion Forum for the Monitoring Committed of the 2000-2006 CSF for the Ob.1 was inspired by the realization of such a need and aims at providing a service infrastructure for the Members of the Monitoring Committee. As a stable linking instrument for the Members of the Monitoring Committee, the Forum uses the Internet technology to:
share the working agenda of the Monitoring Committee
spread the documents and information available at level of each Member
target different typologies of users through tailor-made information pathways
build up the basis for the inter-connection among all the Monitoring Committees.
