Database and DPS eXplorer

The database on the Measurable Objectives for Public Services Provision is available only in Italian. It is possible to browse via two access criteria (indicator and territorial dimension) or to download the complete dataset. Metadata relating to each statistical indicator are also available.

An innovative and interactive tool to explore data and indicators even on the themes linked to the incentive mechanism, is also available. DPS eXplorer is the Italian customization of OECD eXplorerlink to external site and it is a bilingual web-based application, in Italian and English, developed by the National Centre for Visual Analytics of Linköping University in Swedenlink to external site. It has been developed according to the Global Project on measuring the progress of societieslink to external site.

DPS eXplorer includes more than 70 indicators organized in different categories and permits to analyze the set of the 11 indicators related to the Measurable Objectives for Public Services Provision. DPS eXplorer makes it possible to analyze and compare the performance of local administrations and users can contribute directly with their own narratives and analyses.
